IEP/504 Parent Support

Navigating special education services can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Individualized Reading Intervention

Legacy Learning offers one-on-one, evidence-based reading instruction for students with dyslexia, language-based learning differences, or those needing extra support. Instruction is grounded in the science of reading and delivered using the Take Flight curriculum—an intensive, structured literacy program designed for struggling readers. Sessions are led by an experienced special education teacher, practicing speech-language pathology assistant, and Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) in training. Each lesson is personalized, progress is closely monitored, and every session builds confidence and lasting skills.

Pre-K Prep

Starting Pre-K is a big step, and we’re here to help make it a successful one. Our Pre-K Prep services are offered in small groups of 1–3 children and are designed to build the foundational skills your little learner needs to thrive in the classroom. We focus on essential readiness skills such as following simple directions, participating in group activities, sitting for story time, using classroom materials appropriately, and developing early social and communication skills.

Pre-K is an exciting yet sometimes overwhelming transition. By helping your child know what to expect and practice key routines in a supportive, play-based environment, we can reduce anxiety, build confidence, and prevent behaviors that may interfere with learning. Our goal is to help your child feel confident, capable, and ready to shine on their first day—and every day after.
